Linemedia VietnamAI & SEO Visibility Strategy
A Vietnam-specific search and AI visibility engagement for Autoline, Machineryline and Agroline. Not a technical audit, and not an attempt to take over your SEO. Local market intelligence, scoped so your in-house team executes it.
Your three questions, answered before you read anything else
| What does USD 5,000 a month include? | It is the ongoing consulting retainer for one marketplace, starting after the research is delivered. It is not all three, and it is not the initial research. |
| One marketplace or all three? | Your choice, and we have priced it both ways. The research sprint is USD 10,000 for one marketplace or USD 24,000 for all three. Adding a second or third later costs USD 7,000 each, so phasing it costs you nothing. |
| Initial research or ongoing consulting? | Both, in that order, and the second is optional. An eight-week research sprint you can buy and stop after. Then a rolling monthly retainer only if the sprint convinces your team. |
| What it costs in year one |
Smallest commitment, Machineryline research only, stop there: USD 10,000. Machineryline research plus six months of retainer: USD 40,000. All three researched, then ten months of full retainer: USD 134,000. We would rather publish the largest number ourselves than have you work it out and wonder why we did not. |
Our actual recommendation is the USD 10,000 one. Start with Machineryline, because it is the only one of the three with proven Vietnamese ranking behaviour to build on, and it is the fastest way for you to find out whether we are worth the other two. The reasoning for all of this is below, along with what we found while working it out.
“Saigon Digital transformed how Ski.com shows up online. Beyond rebuilding our platform, they helped us rethink our entire search and AI visibility strategy. We saw a significant uplift in organic traffic, our content started appearing in AI-generated travel recommendations, and the quality of inbound leads improved dramatically. They understand where digital discovery is heading and how to turn visibility into real commercial results.”

The rules of brand discovery have fundamentally changed
Search Has Evolved. Your Strategy Must Too.
You said you do not need a general SEO or technical audit, and you were right to say so. We looked, and your technical foundation in Vietnam is better than most of what we see: server-rendered Vietnamese HTML, valid schema, 124 hreflang alternates, a genuine llms.txt on all three domains, and not one AI crawler blocked anywhere in your robots.txt. We went looking for crawler blocks because we usually find them. There are none. This proposal is not about any of that.
It is about the layer above it. A search market is a language before it is a technology, and Vietnamese is a genuinely difficult one to reach from outside. Demand appears to split across accented and unaccented spellings that behave as separate pools, which is one of the first things Phase 1 sizes properly. The formal word for a machine and the word buyers actually type are often different words. Facebook groups of the Hội mua bán type currently rank first or second on your own head terms, above every marketplace. Zalo is widely held to carry a similar share of the trade earlier in the journey, which we would want to test rather than assert. None of it shows up in an international keyword tool, which is precisely why you are looking for a local partner rather than another audit.
For a marketplace, AI search rewards a different asset than Google does. Google ranks your category pages. AI engines assemble an answer from whatever Vietnamese-language content describes the market, then cite it. If the Vietnamese conversation about where to buy used machinery happens entirely without you, no amount of listing inventory changes the answer you get.
The Queries Your Buyers Are Asking AI
These are real queries prospects use when researching solutions through AI platforms.
xst7
Not a machine part. Vietnamese shorthand for the Saturday lottery, 12,000 searches a month, and the source of 98.4 percent of Machineryline Vietnam’s organic traffic.
Mua xe tải cũ ở đâu uy tín
Where do I reliably buy a used truck. The highest-intent commercial vehicle question in the market, and one of the two we verified.
Xe cuốc, not máy đào
The folk term for an excavator, used by Chợ Tốt and by the market. Your taxonomy uses the formal term, which is correct Vietnamese and the wrong keyword.
Hàng bãi Nhật
Japanese yard stock. The organising idea behind almost every Vietnamese machinery site that outranks you, and absent from your category tree.
Kubota d1105, hitachi ex60-5, pc50
Model codes you already rank first for in Vietnam at DR 9. The clearest evidence of what works, and the least exploited.
may xuc against máy xúc
We expect the same query with and without tone marks to return different results and different competitors. International keyword tools typically surface one and hide the other. Sizing both pools is a Phase 1 deliverable rather than a claim we are making here.
The Critical Window
Vietnamese-language comparison content in your three verticals is thin, the incumbents are classifieds generalists rather than machinery specialists, and several of the highest-volume head terms sit at Ahrefs difficulty zero. AI engines have not yet settled on a canonical answer to where a Vietnamese buyer should source used commercial vehicles or construction machinery. That is unusual, and it will not hold. Whoever supplies the Vietnamese substrate for that answer first tends to stay in it.

* This number is not what it looks like. See below. Ahrefs, pulled 9 September 2026, country-scoped to Vietnam.
The 14,553 is not real, and the reason why is the reason you are looking for a local partner
Machineryline Vietnam appears to earn 14,553 organic visits a month, which would make it your Vietnamese success story. 98.4 percent of that traffic comes from a single keyword: xst7. It has 12,000 monthly searches and you rank first for it.
xst7 is Vietnamese shorthand for xổ số thứ 7, the Saturday lottery results. The page ranking first for it is machineryline.com.vn/-/thit-b-kim-soat-nhit-d-cong-nghip/Palfinger--c1499tm3764, a Palfinger industrial temperature-control category. Vietnamese lottery searchers land on a page about temperature controllers and leave.
Strip it out and the real picture is roughly 240 commercial visits a month across the whole domain, with genuine machinery-intent Vietnamese traffic under 100. Autoline earns 30 a month on a domain view, 27 when summed across its ranking keywords, and not one of those keywords is a Vietnamese-language term. Agroline earns 4, from xưởng cưa (sawmill) and máy cày lamborghini.
You may already have xst7 flagged as junk, in which case skip this paragraph. If it is still sitting inside a reported number somewhere, it matters, because catching it takes knowing that four characters which look like a part number are how Vietnamese people search for Saturday’s lottery draw. That is the kind of thing a local partner is for.

Ahrefs, 9 September 2026. Vietnamese incumbent figures are worldwide domain mode; VN-scoped figures are close to identical because these are domestic properties.
No translated marketplace has ever ranked in Vietnam. Not one.
Mascus, Machineseeker and Truck1 all launched Vietnamese properties. All three rank for exactly zero keywords and earn exactly zero organic traffic. Mascus is not a weak operator; mascus.com holds DR 76 and 2,241 keywords globally. These are capable European marketplaces failing at the same specific thing, in the same market, in the same way.
That cuts two ways, and you should weigh both. It is a warning: the localised-skin model does not work here, and Autoline, Machineryline and Agroline are currently following the same path those three took. It is also the opportunity, because the entire category of international machinery marketplaces is unoccupied in Vietnamese search. The people beating you are not other global platforms. They are Chợ Tốt, Facebook groups called Hội mua bán máy xúc, and single-vertical dealer sites at DR 1.5 with 400 referring domains.
Which is the genuinely encouraging part. dongnat.vn outranks you on used excavators at DR 1.9. xenangnhatbai.com.vn outranks you at DR 1.5. They are not winning on authority, because they have none. They are winning on Vietnamese-language depth, against catalogues a fraction the size of yours.
AI Platform Visibility: Linemedia Vietnam
We ran verified Vietnamese-language queries on Google, and are deliberately not claiming the other three engines until Phase 4 tests them properly.
2 Verified Queries. Real Queries. 0 Appearances.
We asked leading AI platforms the same questions your buyers ask. Here’s where Linemedia appeared, and where it didn’t.
Two queries is a small sample, and two is exactly what we are showing you
We could have run twenty queries across three verticals and four engines and presented a wall of red. You would have had no way to check any of it, and you would have been right not to trust it. So here are the two we actually verified. What they establish is not the absence, which you could have guessed. It is the mechanism: the engine built its answer by reading Vietnamese comparison articles on xe.chotot.com, winauto.vn and muaxegiare.com, and then named the marketplaces those articles name. Your absence from the answer is a direct consequence of your absence from that content, which is a content problem rather than an authority problem, and therefore a solvable one. Sizing it properly across all three verticals and all four engines is the first thing Phase 4 does.
Three Things That Only Show Up From Inside Vietnamese Search
These are the highest-impact issues holding Linemedia back from AI & SEO visibility.
01 · Vietnamese keywords are being deleted from your own URLs
Your slug generator strips Vietnamese-specific characters instead of transliterating them. It does not romanise the accented letter, it removes it. We captured every category URL across the three sites on 9 September 2026. 205 of 270 category slugs, 76 percent, contain a syllable with no vowel in it, which is impossible in Vietnamese. That is a conservative floor, because the test only catches vowel-less fragments and misses corrupted slugs that stay pronounceable.
| Category | Live listings | Your URL | Should be |
|---|---|---|---|
| Máy đào excavators | 31,748 | may-do | may-dao |
| Xe tải trucks | 30,963 | xe-ti | xe-tai |
| Đầu kéo truck tractors | 18,606 | du-keo | dau-keo |
| Máy đào bánh xích crawler excavators | 16,215 | may-do-banh-xich | may-dao-banh-xich |
| Sơ mi rơ moóc semi-trailers | 15,875 | s-mi-r-mooc | so-mi-ro-mooc |
| Máy cày tractors | 15,502 | may-cy | may-cay |
| Máy gặt đập liên hợp combine harvesters | 4,135 | may-gt-dp-lin-hp | may-gat-dap-lien-hop |
| Máy ủi bulldozers | 2,397 | may-i | may-ui |
| Phụ tùng spare parts | n/a | ph-tng | phu-tung |
If this is already a ticket on your board, the useful part here is the sizing and the remediation map rather than the finding itself.
Three details make this worse than a cosmetic bug.
It is not just broken, it is wrong. may-do reads as máy đo, a measuring instrument. Your largest machinery category, 31,748 listings, asks Google to rank it for the wrong product.
The categories that are correct prove it is systematic. Xe ben and xe khách come through clean, and only because they contain no Vietnamese-specific characters. The damage therefore falls hardest on precisely the highest-value commercial terms in your three verticals. The same categories in English are clean, on the same category IDs: c2 is /-/trucks--c2 against your /-/xe-ti--c2, c456 is /-/spare-parts--c456 against /-/ph-tng--c456, c127 is /-/bulldozers--c127 against /-/may-i--c127. Identical IDs, identical templates, one language rendered correctly and one not.
One more thing, and it is the reason this is worth your attention rather than just Vietnam’s. The English tree is clean and the Vietnamese tree is broken on identical category IDs, which points at a single transliteration routine in a platform shared across all 33 country domains rather than anything specific to Vietnam. If that is right, the same fix recovers keyword signal in every other market you run that uses characters outside the Western European set: Turkish, Polish, Czech, Romanian, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian. Vietnam is simply where the damage is most complete, because Vietnamese stacks more diacritics than any of them. We have not tested the other markets and we are not going to claim them, but it is the first thing we would look at, and it may make this a group-level win rather than a country one.
And the section those categories sit under is called the wrong thing. Your entire for-sale area sits at /-/doanh-thu/. Doanh thu means revenue, or turnover, in the accounting sense. It is not what a Vietnamese buyer searches, ever. They search mua bán, bán or thanh lý.
For a marketplace whose whole organic model is long-tail category and listing pages, every Vietnamese category URL currently carries zero keyword signal. The Vietnamese sites that beat you get this right without thinking about it: otoansuong.vn/mua-ban-xe-tai-cu-uy-tin.
02 · What you rank for is model codes, and that is the real opportunity
Once the lottery keyword is removed, what remains on Machineryline is genuinely interesting. 21 of its 84 Vietnamese keywords sit in the top three positions. It ranks first for pc50, kubota z482, kubota d1105, hitachi ex60-5, máy xúc doosan 55, ex 210 and máy cạp đất.
When a page is genuinely about a specific machine, it ranks number one in Vietnam on a domain with DR 9. That is the whole thesis in one observation. Vietnamese machinery buyers search by model code at least as much as by category, and you hold the largest model-level catalogue of anyone selling into this market. Autoline shows the same pattern from the other direction: its 25 keywords are almost all bare model codes, scania r730, howo 371, toyota coaster, with no Vietnamese-language term above a single visit.
The head terms are not the barrier either. Ahrefs difficulty in Vietnam: xe tải cũ at KD 0 with 2,064 monthly searches. Máy xúc cũ at KD 0. Máy cày cũ at KD 0. Xe nâng cũ at KD 3. These are not contested terms. They are simply unclaimed, and the sites claiming them are dealer sites with 400 referring domains.
Only 29, 84 and 3 pages respectively exist in a form Vietnamese Google can match. Chợ Tốt has 12,018.
If this is already a ticket on your board, the useful part here is the sizing and the remediation map rather than the finding itself.
03 · Nothing about the three properties is Vietnamese yet, except the words
Your /news/, /blog/, /articles/ and /press/ paths all return 404, and your 145-file sitemap index contains only adverts, dealer listings and the model catalogue. There is no editorial sitemap because there is no editorial content. Chợ Tốt’s excavator category page, by contrast, carries a full Vietnamese buying guide, a date-stamped headline and a live inventory count. Yours is a bare listing grid.
That is why AI engines have nothing of yours to quote. We ran the two highest-intent Vietnamese truck queries a buyer would type. Across 15 result slots, autoline.com.vn appeared zero times. The instructive part was the mechanism: the engine assembled its answer by reading Vietnamese comparison articles on xe.chotot.com, winauto.vn and muaxegiare.com, and named the marketplaces those articles name. AI engines are not ranking sites here, they are quoting Vietnamese listicles that have never heard of you.
The taxonomy misses the same way. Chợ Tốt facets by province, Đắk Lắk, Đồng Nai, Tiền Giang, because machinery demand in Vietnam is regional. You have no province dimension at all. Chợ Tốt uses the folk terms the market actually types, xe cuốc and xe xúc đào; you use the formal máy đào. And the organising idea behind almost every winning Vietnamese machinery site, Japanese used-import framing, hàng bãi Nhật and máy cày nhật bãi, is absent from your tree entirely, even though it describes a large part of what you sell.
Two further signals point the same way, and both are worth your attention. In a sample of the top 250 referring domains by authority, Autoline has zero Vietnamese referring domains and Machineryline has two. Around 93 percent of that sample has no organic traffic of its own, and the profile is dominated by .store and .shop domains with names like buyseobacklinks.shop and pbnseolinks.shop. We should be straight about the method: ranking by authority over-samples exactly where this kind of domain concentrates, so treat the 93 percent as indicative and the Vietnamese count as the load-bearing number. We are not going to guess whether that is legacy activity, opportunistic scraping or something aimed at you, and we would not put a theory in a document like this. It should be diagnosed properly, and it means the 2,128 referring domains on Autoline are not the asset the number suggests. Separately, and this is a commercial point rather than a search one: your Vietnamese contacts page lists support languages as Chinese, English, Russian, Ukrainian and German. A Vietnamese buyer who picks up the phone cannot be served in Vietnamese, which caps conversion on whatever we win in search.
If this is already a ticket on your board, the useful part here is the sizing and the remediation map rather than the finding itself.
The Closest Thing We Have To Your Problem
We are not going to show you a mocked-up AI answer with our name at the top of it. Here is a real comparable instead.
VALO Vietnam
A B2B marketplace connecting international buyers with verified Vietnamese suppliers, currently listing 3,400 suppliers and 6,900 products across agriculture, industrial, consumer goods, lifestyle and living. We built the platform end to end and we run its SEO, including programmatic SEO across category and supplier pages and the AI visibility work that gets VALO cited when buyers ask category questions.
Those are Ahrefs figures pulled on the same day as everything else in this document, so you can check them the same way. The number that matters is not the traffic, it is 191 of 491 keywords in the top three. That is what a marketplace looks like when the category and supplier pages are built around how the market actually searches, on a domain with less authority than Autoline Vietnam already has.
It is the same problem shape as Autoline: large listing inventory, category and facet pages at scale, cross-border buyer intent, and a Vietnamese-language market that international tooling reads badly. It is also a fair comparison rather than a flattering one, because VALO is smaller than you and we are not claiming otherwise.
Who would actually do this, and how it fits your team
Roughly 60 consultant days across the three verticals, which is where the Phase 1 fee comes from. The work is led by our Vietnamese search team in Ho Chi Minh City, with Nick running the engagement and joining your monthly sessions. We will introduce the named Vietnamese lead on the first call, because you are buying specific people rather than an agency logo and you should meet them before you commit.
Deliverables and working sessions are in English. We work Vietnam hours and overlap comfortably with European mornings, so a Kyiv or European schedule is not a problem. Deliverables land in whatever your team already uses, and we are happy to work directly in your tracker rather than sending documents into an inbox. Every artefact is yours: the keyword universe, the redirect map, the query set and the baseline stay in your systems.
Alongside VALO we run search strategy for Ski.com and technical SEO and Core Web Vitals remediation across two enterprise platforms for Ventia.
How Do We Get There?
What the engagement actually consists of
The 5-Phase Plan
Each phase builds on the last, creating compounding authority for Linemedia Vietnam.
What “local” actually means, in six examples
These came out of a few days of desk research. We are showing you six rather than sixty, because the point is the category of problem, not the list. Phase 1 does this systematically across all three verticals.
| Payload shorthand is the model name | Chiến Thắng’s entire truck range is named by payload: 1T5, 2T5, 3T45, 4T95. There is no model code to catalogue. A model tree built from manufacturer feeds has nowhere to put an entire brand. |
| Two native numeric conventions | 3t45 means 3.45 tonnes. 4m4 means a 4.4 metre body. The letter is the decimal separator. No imported schema parses either, so your filters cannot read the specs your Vietnamese sellers write. |
| Chân and cầu are not synonyms | 3 chân is three axles. 2 cầu is two driven axles. Sellers write both in one title: “DONGFENG 3 chân 2 cầu”. Treat them as one field and your spec filter returns the wrong trucks. |
| Hổ vồ is what buyers call a Howo | It appears throughout dealer content and search behaviour, and almost never in seller listing titles. Demand-side vocabulary your supply side does not mirror, which is a content position you can own without touching inventory. |
| The most-traded models are often discontinued ones | Hyundai HD65, HD72 and HD99 and the Đô Thành IZ series are heavily traded used and largely absent from current manufacturer price lists. A catalogue synced from live manufacturer feeds systematically under-represents the models with the most used-market demand. |
| The Mekong Delta does not buy machines | Vietnam’s rice heartland shows very little machine-purchase intent, and that is structural rather than a data gap. It buys services. The Mekong holds over 70 percent of Vietnam’s agricultural drones, 30 to 40 percent of Cần Thơ rice farmers have used drone spraying, and the National Agriculture Extension Centre explicitly recommends cooperatives and machinery-service centres rather than each household investing. For Agroline that changes who the buyer is: the contractor and the service operator, not the farmer. A category tree aimed at owner-operators misses the actual market. |
Every one of these is invisible to an international keyword tool, and none of them is a technical SEO problem. They are the reason a centrally managed taxonomy underperforms in this market no matter how well it is engineered.
Vietnamese demand mapping
- Full Vietnamese keyword universe per vertical, built from Vietnamese sources rather than translated from your global set
- Formal against folk terminology, sized: where the market types xe cuốc and your taxonomy says máy đào, and which one the SERP rewards
- Diacritic demand modelling, with accented and unaccented forms sized as separate pools
- Model-code long tail mapped against your live inventory, the pattern already earning you 21 top-three positions
- Import-intent vocabulary sized separately: hàng bãi Nhật, nhập khẩu châu Âu, máy cũ nhập khẩu
- A clean traffic baseline with the lottery keyword and other noise stripped out, so you are measuring the real number from day one
Taxonomy and URL remediation plan
- Root-cause diagnosis of the slug transliteration defect, written for your engineering team
- Corrected slug set for every affected category across the three live properties, with the redirect map
- Replacement for the
/-/doanh-thu/path and the mistranslated category labels - Vietnamese-native category tree proposed against the current translated tree, with the parent and child naming conflicts resolved
- Province faceting design, and filter recommendations matched to how Vietnamese buyers narrow: tonnage, model code, import origin, region
- A recommendation on agriline.com.vn against agroline.com.vn, which currently split the agricultural brand across a dormant domain and a dead one. Worth confirming whether agriline.com.vn sits inside your estate at all, because autoline.vn does not
Competitor, SERP and entity intelligence
- Teardown of the Vietnamese sites that outrank you and exactly what they do differently, per vertical
- Why Mascus, Machineseeker and Truck1 all scored zero in Vietnam, and which of those failure modes currently apply to you
- Vietnamese SERP feature and intent patterns, including where Cốc Cốc diverges from Google
- The off-Google discovery map: the Facebook groups and Zalo channels that rank above marketplaces on your own head terms, and what that means for entity and referral strategy
- Referring-domain diagnosis, and a Vietnamese link and digital PR target list that is realistically winnable
AI Search and GEO baseline
- Structured Vietnamese-language testing across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Gemini, with a repeatable query set you keep and can re-run
- Citation-source analysis: the specific Vietnamese pages AI engines quote when answering category questions, and how to get into them
- Vietnamese
llms.txtand entity markup recommendations, building on the files you already publish - Prioritised content brief set aimed at the comparison and guide formats AI actually cites
- Baseline scorecard so month-on-month movement is measurable against a real starting number
Consulting alongside your in-house team
- Monthly working session with your central SEO owner, structured around your sprint cycle rather than ours
- Quarterly terminology refresh, because Vietnamese category vocabulary moves with the import market
- Ongoing Vietnamese SERP and AI citation tracking, reported against the Phase 4 baseline
- Content and taxonomy briefs written for your team to ship, not delivered as agency output
- Rolling local link and digital PR targets, and review of what your team has shipped
Phase 1 Deliverables
Everything Phase 1 hands over, and when. We have deliberately not put a traffic forecast in this document, because any number we produced before the demand mapping is done would be invented.
| Deliverable | Format | By |
|---|---|---|
| Vietnamese keyword universe Per vertical. Folk and formal terms, accented and unaccented pools, model-code long tail, import-intent vocabulary, each mapped to intent and to your live inventory | Spreadsheet + written analysis | Week 3 |
| Clean traffic and ranking baseline Noise stripped out, so every later number is measured against something real | Dashboard + note | Week 3 |
| Corrected slug set and redirect map Every affected category across the three live properties, with root-cause notes for your engineers | Spreadsheet + technical note | Week 5 |
| Vietnamese-native taxonomy proposal Category tree, labels, province faceting and filters, mapped against your current structure | Structured document | Week 5 |
| Competitor and SERP intelligence Who wins in Vietnamese and why, plus why three comparable European marketplaces scored zero here | Written analysis | Week 7 |
| Link, entity and off-Google map Referring-domain diagnosis, winnable Vietnamese targets, and the Facebook and Zalo layer that outranks marketplaces on your own head terms | Target list + strategy note | Week 7 |
| AI Search baseline and citation analysis Four engines, Vietnamese queries, a repeatable query set you keep, plus the pages AI actually cites in your categories | Scorecard + query set | Week 8 |
| Prioritised recommendation backlog Everything above, sequenced by impact and effort, written as tickets your in-house team can pick up | Backlog + walkthrough session | Week 8 |
What the prize looks like, sized honestly
We deliberately have not put a traffic forecast in this document, because any number produced before the demand mapping is done would be invented. But you are being asked to spend money, so here is the one sizing figure we can stand behind.
Across a sample of head terms in the three verticals, Ahrefs shows roughly 4,956 monthly searches. Across all three properties, you currently capture about 270 real visits a month. That is head terms only, and it is the smaller half of the opportunity: the model-code long tail, which is the pattern already earning you 21 top-three positions, is considerably larger and is exactly what Phase 1 sizes.
The honest caveat that goes with it: search volume is only worth something if it lands on stock a Vietnamese buyer can actually buy. Your Vietnamese sites currently surface the global database, and the featured trucks are in Poland and Germany. That is not necessarily wrong, because Vietnam runs a large import trade in used European and Japanese machinery and buyers search for it in their own vocabulary. But nobody has mapped Vietnamese demand against sellable supply, and until someone does, any forecast is decoration. That mapping is the first deliverable, not an afterthought.
Every deliverable is written for your in-house team to execute. We are not asking to take over your SEO operation, and nothing here duplicates the central and technical work you already do well.

How the price is built, so you can check it
We have priced this per marketplace because you asked, but we would rather show you the cost model than hand you a menu and a discount badge.
Two thirds of the work is per-vertical. One third is shared and built once. The shared portion is USD 3,000: the Vietnamese entity layer, the AI Search baseline, the local link and digital PR ecosystem, the off-Google discovery map, and the root-cause diagnosis of the slug defect. Each vertical then costs USD 7,000 on top of it, because the terminology, taxonomy and competitor work genuinely does not transfer between trucks, excavators and tractors.
So: one marketplace is 3,000 plus 7,000, which is 10,000. Two is 3,000 plus 14,000, which is 17,000. Three is 3,000 plus 21,000, which is 24,000. The retainer uses the same shape, USD 2,000 shared plus USD 3,000 per vertical, giving 5,000, 8,000 and 11,000. Nothing here is discounted, and nothing gets cheaper if you push on it, which we mention so neither of us wastes a round on it.
The one thing we would argue for is doing all three eventually rather than never. The cross-vertical patterns only appear when you look at them together: the same import-intent vocabulary drives trucks, excavators and tractors, the same kinds of Facebook group trade all three, and the 21 model-code positions that already work on Machineryline are the template for the other two. That is an argument for sequence, though, not for buying everything at once.
What happens if it does not work
Phase 1 is deliberately a thing you can buy once and stop. If the backlog we hand over does not convince your team that there is meaningful Vietnamese upside here, do not take Phase 2. That is the design, not a concession, and it is why the research is priced as a fixed fee rather than folded into a twelve-month retainer.
You keep everything either way: the corrected slug set, the redirect map, the keyword universe, the query set and the baseline are yours, in your systems, whether or not we ever work together again.
Phase 1 is a fixed fee, invoiced 50 percent on start and 50 percent on delivery. Phase 2 is genuinely rolling monthly with no minimum term and no lock-in, invoiced in week three for the month following, with 30 days notice either way. We would say honestly that the work compounds and four to six months is where it starts paying back, but that is advice rather than a contract term, and you can stop after one. Contracting entity, IP ownership, data handling and VAT treatment are all straightforward on our side and we will send the paperwork alongside any agreed scope. Deliverables and working sessions are in English.
The ROI Perspective
Its first deliverable is a corrected slug set for categories holding 31,748 excavator listings and 30,963 truck listings, neither of which currently carries a readable Vietnamese keyword in its URL. Its second is a clean baseline, so that the next time someone reports 14,553 monthly visits, you know whether it means anything. Several of the head terms those categories compete for sit at Ahrefs difficulty zero, and the sites currently holding them have a few hundred referring domains. This is not an expensive market to win. It is an unclaimed one. What we cannot tell you yet is how much of the demand maps onto stock a Vietnamese buyer can actually purchase, and that is the first question Phase 1 answers rather than assumes.
Vietnam Is The Only Asian Market In A 33-Country Estate
Which makes it the most interesting position the group holds, and the least finished
Of the 33 Autoline country domains, every one sits in Europe, the CIS or Turkey, with a single exception. Vietnam. That is not an accident of expansion, it is a deliberate position in the fastest-growing construction and logistics market in Southeast Asia, and it is the only Asian ground the group holds.
A great deal of what is needed is already built. Three properties, 945,634 listings, valid schema, correct hreflang, server-rendered Vietnamese HTML, a genuinely well-written llms.txt on every domain, and not one major AI crawler blocked in robots.txt. We checked, expecting to find blocks, and did not. Whoever specified the llms.txt files and the crawler policy made a deliberate call, and the right one.
What has not been built is the layer that makes a Vietnamese buyer, or a Vietnamese-language AI answer, recognise any of it as Vietnamese. That is a narrower and more tractable problem than a market entry, and the competitive data says the window is unusually open: the incumbents are classifieds generalists rather than machinery specialists, the head terms sit at difficulty zero, and no international platform has yet supplied the Vietnamese-language substrate that AI engines will end up quoting.
The Window Is Now
Three comparable European marketplaces, Mascus, Machineseeker and Truck1, all launched Vietnamese properties and all three rank for zero keywords today. The localised-skin model has been tested here and it does not work. The corollary is that the category is still open, and the work required to take it is smaller and better defined than a market entry.
Where We Would Start
The fastest way forward is a call with whoever owns SEO centrally, so we can pressure-test this against what your team already knows and agree which marketplace proves the model first. Our instinct is Machineryline, because it already holds 21 top-three Vietnamese positions on model codes that nobody engineered, which makes it the cleanest place to show what deliberate Vietnamese coverage adds.
